Kickstart your adventure in Alexandria, a city founded by Alexander the Great and a testament to the confluence of Egyptian and Greco-Roman civilizations. Meet your guide at your hotel and embark on a scenic 3-hour drive from Cairo to this historic city by the Mediterranean Sea. With your tour guide, uncover the layers of Alexandria's rich past, from its ancient roots to the iconic Lighthouse of Alexandria. Explore the subterranean world of the Roman catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, marvel at the towering Pompey Pillar—the largest of its kind in Egypt—and absorb tales of antiquity from a knowledgeable Egyptologist. Next, visit the Qaitbay Fortress, perched majestically by the sea, before discovering the wonders housed within the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, ranked fourth globally among libraries. My family and I loved this experience.

My family and I loved this experience. My daughter and I love to bake, but my husband and son rarely step into the kitchen to cook, so watching them enjoy themselves was very special. Emma was a kind and patient teacher. She made the experience fun with her humor and stories. We shared the class with a mother and daughter who were fun as well. Not only did we learn how to make a baguette, but we also had a great time doing it as a family. This experience was a great value as well.
